I ssh -X to my linux server and generate some graphics to be saved as PDFs. When the size of the graphics grows large, I get segmentation fault error from X11. How to fix this?

Can you provide more information, preferably an application crash report?

An X11 (if it *is* X11 and not the application or etc.) segfault is a bug.  It is not "out of memory", it is "memory has become corrupted".
