Thanks Jonas, I could very easily be wrong about GIMP. I'm glad if you have corrected me. I'm not a geek nor do I pretend to be a geek. But I thought for sure I had a version of GIMP that used wine a while back.

In one of your previous messages you gave GIMP and theWord as examples of "wined" applications. GIMP does not have anything to do with Wine. It's a regular X11 Mac OS X-native application (well, I suppose it is possible to compile GIMP for Windows and then run it on Mac OS X using Wine, but I doubt anyone went through the trouble of creating a downloadable Wine bottle for such a contraption since you can run it on Mac OS X natively, too). I don't know about theWord.
