And I didn't catch it.... Oh well, I'm following in that thread now. I
just moved (as root)
http://lists.apple.com/archives/x11-users/2012/Dec/msg00031.html to
~root/fubar instead of simply removing it. Do I have to reboot for that
to work (if it's the problem? If not, well, it's not the problem...just
lost focus again.

Is there a plist file for this google updater? And what exactly is that?
And why is it on my system?

I'm guessing that this is a l[damn, it did it again]ink to the python
thread they keep going on about? Thanks...I was going to ask you for
that.
I'm going to be going back and forth now between the thread, my xterm
where I'm su'd to root, and the movie I'm watching on the Military
channel. So I'll post back when I find the guilty critter and remove it.
Oh, repeating the on[AGAIN!]e question...after removing the plist
file(s), do I have to resort to a reboot? I can't imagine that on any
Unix, so is there a kill to reset whatever it is?
Thanks,
