| Not sure if slightly OT, but am trying to find the "best" way of using an emacs under MacOS. I had tried Fink's xemacs but just can't get Alt-3 to give me a hash symbol on my keyboard - seems that Alt is bound to Meta, but if I "customise" back to Alt then Alt-3 still doesn't give the hash symbol.
Ideas?
