I agree. It was just a contributing factor to the problem on my initial test of X11 and XQuartz.
For giggles, you could configure your system so that you can login in with multiple user accounts. Then switch between user accounts. After switching between accounts, you will discover that the account that you just switched to remains unavailable for a few minutes after the switch while the memory compression and decompression takes place. But, this isn’t a discussion for this list.
