Since upgrading to Mavericks I've noticed an issue whereby activating
XQuartz (either by firing up an application or clicking on the icon on the
Dock) will vapor lock my mouse for 15-30 seconds.
In looking at the Console log I see this happening right when I click or
start the application:
kernel[0]: com_Logitech_HIPointing::terminate(kIOServiceSynchronous) timeout
I'm running XQuartz 2.7.5_rc2 (xorg-server 1.13.4) and the Logitech
Control Center software version 3.8.0 (just released for 10.9 support.)
I've tried disabling the Pasteboard synchronization and various other X11
options to no avail. I have also confirmed that the trackpad works at all
times. This problem was also occurring with version 3.7.0 of the Logitech
Control Center. I only went to 3.8.0 to try and resolve this interaction
issue after the Mavericks upgrade.
Is there some type of log or capture I could provide to help diagnose the
problem?
