Hi-
I have Xquartz 2.7.5 installed on a new laptop with OS X 10.9.1.
I've copied over a simple .xinitrc I've used in the past, so that
when I launch the XQuartz.app I get a few xterms on the screen.
What doesn't work though is the default menu behavior of pressing
command-n to start another, new xterm seems to do nothing. Well,
actually, it causes the Applications menu header to blink, but I
don't get a new xterm. (I can launch a new xterm from inside one of
the existing xterms, but what I want is to use the keyboard to start
a new terminal. This worked fine on a previous laptop, but I cannot
figure out what preference is different that I might need to copy
over.)
Thanks in advance for the help.
Pete
You first have to use the Applications -> Customize menu entry to set
what you want a Cmd-N to do.
