When i restart my Mac, XQuartz comes with a black window and pale yellow

becomes white and black foreground. Since I usually open a number of
widows and I disabled the shortcuts with CMD, I have several aliases to
open them where I change the fontsize like the following one:
alias xterm10
xterm -sb -fg Wheat -bg black -cr green -ms red -fa Monaco -fs 10&
My first window, whether white or black will therefore open other
windows in black background by typing xterm10 or xterm7, etc.

Hi Laurent,
Thanks for the suggestions. My OS update did not help me with running
the new Apps I wanted, so I solved the issue by reverting to El Capitan.
best wishes,
Phil.
