Have you tried IntelliJ IDEA? Its Mac support is a bit rough around the edges still and it feels like a Windows app, but its code completion and refactoring features are quite nice. It has been hard for me to switch to ProjectBuilder and now XCode after using an IDE that does half my work for me :)



IDEA costs $500, but there's a 30-day eval:

and the beta ("EAP") version is free during the beta period:

(but wait a few days because EAP versions 977 and earlier have some serious problems with Panther).
