The Software Update delivery vehicle does not give the opportunity to
post this to recipients, but the Read Me document for Xcode Update 1.1
includes the following in the INSTALLATION section:
> IMPORTANT: Please note that this release is a partial update of the
> Xcode development tools suite. It requires Mac OS X v10.3 with Xcode
> 1.0 or Xcode 1.0.1 already configured to install correctly. It can
> also be installed directly over an Xcode Update 1.1 prerelease seed
