Godfrey,

It just isn't obvious/clear that Xcode Update is only updates a subset of
all the developer tools.  Previous 'updaters' to developer tools did update
multiple parts of the build system.  I guess part of the problem is that
'Developer Tools' has been renamed to Xcode, which is also the name of a
specific application within the Xcode toolset.

I also find it surprising that Apple feels there's a significant demand for
only a partial update to the developer tools.  I would think that most
developers would want a complete updater [rather than a full installer].

Perhaps ADC could add an explicit note to the main download page that the
Xcode updater doesn't completely update the entire Xcode toolset to v1.1.
