Do you have predicitive compilation turned on? If so does turning it
off cause your problems to disappear?
I have this sporadic bug, too (with the Xcode-only update). I tried
turning predictive compilation off, but the bug remains. It is hard to
tell if it now happens less often, because it seems a sort of random
thing. I can add to Thomas' report that when it happens, the build
progress indicator (at least for me) in the upper-right window corner
does not go away but gets stuck at 100%; the Build, Build and Run menu
items are disabled, the Fix menu item is available, but only beeps.
In fact, it's enough to close the project and re-open it for Xcode to
be able to build it again.
Konstantin.

Sorry to ask again, but I really need help on this one. Working with
XCode 1.1 is becoming a nightmare for me, due to this bug: the build
system get stuck, usually when there is some error in the code. This
is very frequent (every two or three builds or so). It becomes
impossible to stop the build process (which seems finished, in fact),
to run or debug the executable, to start a new build: all
menus/toolabar icons are locked in the building state, and trying to
stop has no effect. So I have to relaunch XCode (this should not be
that annoying if XCode would remember the open windows; but it
doesn't, despite checking the corresponding preference).
I have already submitted a bug report on that one. But I really need
some suggestion or workaround, because this slows down the building
process a lot.
Thanks in advance,
