Sorry to ask dumb question, but I have now two targets in my projects,
and I don't understand how XCode manage the file inside: there is a
file that is supposed to be in target A, not B. It appears that the
"target" column (check box) is unchecked for this one; if I check it,
then the file appears in target B as well. What does exactly means
this target column? I was under the impression that is indicaates
whether the file is part of the target, but apparently I'm wrong here.
Select target you want from the main popup on the left. Then the target
column refers to the files that belong to that target, checking and
unchecking refers to the selected target only.
BTW, what is the simplest way to remove a file from a target? Clicking
delete on the table view doesn't work.
Expand the target tree from the source list on the left. Find the file
there, then delete it there. Alternatively if you have the target
column present, you can either uncheck it from the target tree, or from
the project tree.
Cheers, Glen Low
