I have found a reproducible crash in Xcode 1.1. The first time it
occurred, I used the snazzy "Send to Apple" feature of the Panther

report fulfill the same purpose as logging in and reporting a bug?
It may invite or raise the question, but it doesn't beg it. :-)
(Begging the question is a technical term in the study of logic. It
describes a particular type of logical fallacy - a form of circular
reasoning.)
I'm intrigued -- do you have a relevant URL I can peruse? :-)
Should I do both? And is there any value in submitting crash reports
for subsequent crashes that are caused by the same bug?
Godfrey's post here may be relevant to your question.
