Specifying input/output dependencies on a shell script phase

  • Subject: Specifying input/output dependencies on a shell script phase

The documentation suggests that I should just be able to click in either the input or output areas of the shell script build phase window (for an updated target) and type the dependant files.

However although I get a blue outline around the frame of the list my typing just simply gives me an 'alert beep'. No amount of double clicking or left or right clicking seems to fix this. Is this a known problem - the help pages seems to indicate it should work.

Also is this the correct place to indicate that my shell script depends on the linker output so that it's run after the link phase ?

Thanks
