Dito!
I work on several revisions / branches of our application daily, and it
immediately gets crowded on screen - also on a 23" Cinema Display. I
have use the project, run and build windows, plus the occasional debug
window. That's 3 - 4 windows per branch, adding up to 6 - 12 windows in
total depending on what I'm working on.
There is also no way to tell the windows apart. What build/run/debug
window goes with what branch? How would I know? I have to offset them
slightly, and then remember where I positioned them - and that stinks.
The same problem exist in single window mode of course, but with only
one window per project (/ branch) it's much less of a problem.
I'm not saying it's broken, only that I haven't yet figured out how to
make the multi-window mode work to my advantage. If someone were to
write a "Practical tips for working with Xcode", I'll download / buy it
right away.
I have of course filed a number of enhancement requests, so I'm
basically just venting now...
