Integrating with Emacs

  • Subject: Integrating with Emacs

Xcode claims to know how to use Emacs as an external editor, but I want
to use my own emacs executable (actually a script) because I don't like
using Emacs in a Terminal window... does anyone know how to get Xcode
to pass line numbers and filenames to a script configured as the
external editor? (Ideally in the format Emacs/gnuserv/emacsclient
expect?)

Kind regards,

Alastair.
