Shared .pch for multiple targets

Has anyone figured out how to generate and include a "global" precompiled header object file which can be shared by multiple targets? My application is plug-in based, and has _numerous_ targets, most of which have identical pre-comp includes. It would be a great feature to have target groups, as well as the ability to select arbitrary shared pre-comp's (and build settings!) per-target and/or per-group. And a function to create a target, file, or project template from the current settings.
