How interesting. Glad to know there is some purpose for the file.

Can anyone explain the significance of the version.plist that XCode
creates in Cocoa app project directories? Is it related to the
project or
the product?
I searched the XCode docs and release notes & didn't find reference
to it, and it doesn't show up in the project's file manifest. Does it
have to be present & in the same directory as the project?
TIA,
Christopher
