To help me in using CVS I use CVL from Sente, that works very well, and is needed when there are new files added in the project by other people.

No I think it's a bug in the current version of XCode -- I usually go to the command line cvs for the .nib files, but hopefully it will be fixed in the next release (which reminds me I should file a bug for this one)
