I'm trying to do the same with XCode but I just can't find where XCode is keeping all its templates files for its pre-configured targets.

Is that something feasible ?

They now live in /Library/Application Support/Apple/Developer Tools/

I'd assume you could add your own in ~/Library/ and leave the standard ones untouched...
