That does clarify things -- I saw jam being used, and AFAICT Xcode does not "natively" use jam...


You then have to upgrade it to a "native target" from the Project menu - then it behave as an XCode target. Obviously, since it requires a certain amount of translation, the resulting native target sometimes needs to be "massaged" a little ....

...but I don't see any option to "go native" in the Project menu.
