I just noticed X-Code was made available for download from the free membership Dev section.
Someone want to explain why it's in segments instead of one DMG, was it like this for paying Dev members?
Will it be eventually changed?

Yes, a single .dmg would be great; especially if, say, the 3x Panther CD installer packages, Xcode, and the 2x Panther Server CD's could all be burned to a single "master install" DVD.
