I'm trying to get distributed compiling in Xcode to work. In the preference pane for "Distributed Builds" I have a list on machines that have Xcode and Panther installed on them. So I'm assuming these are machines that are available to distribute compiling to. Well, when I run compile on my source machine which has the checkbox "Distribute builds to other shared computers" selected nothing really happens. I saw on one sharing computer briefly a process called "SMB????" fire-up for less than a second and that was it. I have check all my machines they have 100BaseTX <full-duplex> active. So what am I doing wrong?
