I spent another wasted day fighting with XCode. Still cannot figure
out the reason my app is crashing.
My installation must be now hosed because any build completely hangs
XCode. I've tried deleting preferences as well as all build output
files of the project. Quitting XCode and even rebooting the machine
did nothing. Zero Link, Fix & Continue, and predictive compilation are
all turned off.
I'm using a dual 2GHz G5 running Mac OS X 10.3.3 with XCode 1.1. The
project I'm attempting to build is a native project based off the
nib-based Carbon stationery.
So, since I can no longer build, I'm just going to wait until the next
version of XCode, do a full uninstall of what I have, then reinstall
the new version.
I sure hope others are not having this much grief with this IDE.
Hmm..looking back through the archives, it seems that I and several
others had similar hanging issues back in last December. Some messages
mentioned that bugs were filed. AFAIK, there isn't any update
available for XCode 1.1, so I guess those bugs are still outstanding?
