Problems with "Download"

  • Subject: Problems with "Download"

Am I the only one that has problems with the Download method for the new XCode 1.5 images? Firstly its difficult to find a server that will let me mount - Change location and clicking on "Download" eventually mounts the "Segments" image, but only after numerous errors, mostly to to with permission.

Once I get the image to mount, the downloads work for a while, or rather copying the files works, if I'm lucky, for 1 of the segments, then I get an error, which disconnect the "Segments" disk image, but leaves to copy message-box sitting there, until I restart the Finder. This process also leaves a bogus 29Meg file on my Hard-disk.

The process also leave a bogus folder in the finders Browser (left-hand column) called Segments, which I can only get rid of by restarting my computer.

Would it not be possible, for persons like me with less than fiber optic bandwidth to be given a good old stander FTP link to these files?
