Has anyone tried this?

Open the preferences, click on "File Types" and watch in horror as window pops up and says:

"Uncaught Exception:
*** -[NSPlaceholderString initWithFormat:locale:arguments:]: nil string (or other) argument

Stack Backtrace:
The stack backtrace has been logged to the console."

Same happens if I try to open a file (javascript .as file) from the open command, or drop same file on the Xcode icon.

I'd be interested in finding out if other users can repeat this exception.
