A warning about Mac OS X 10.3.5 + NFS

  • Subject: A warning about Mac OS X 10.3.5 + NFS

Don't upgrade to Mac OS X 10.3.5 if you have NFS mounted home
directories and need / like to keep your projects in your home
directory.

It seems that Xcode tries to access files from "/automount/some/path"
when the real path is "/private/automount/some/path". At least that's
my quick and dirty analysis of the problem.

I welcome any suggestions for workarounds so that I can avoid having to
reinstall my OS to revert back to 10.3.4...
