pbxproj and pbxuser files hammered in CVS; using -z3?

Hi All,

After a couple of days using Xcode 1.5 with CVS, I've isolated the following behavior:

Quite often Xcode will try to do a "cvs status glenlow.pbxuser project.pbxproj". It does this whenever you open an Info window on some other file for example, and at several other times, slowing CVS usage down to a crawl. I tried putting in a .cvsignore, but Xcode doesn't seem to look at these -- in fact the only thing was to throw away the CVS subdirectory of the graphviz.xcode directory, effectively removing the project file itself from CVS. Not an ideal solution -- any one having similar experiences with CVS, any solutions?

The other thing I wanted to try since the old Project Builder was to get CVS to use the compression options e.g. cvs -z3. Is there any way of affecting the command line passed to cvs in Xcode? Perhaps some config file that can be edited?

Cheers, Glen Low
