Hi,

the Xcode 1.5 installer overwrites /usr/bin/cvs with a rather old version
of CVS (1.10.x, "Halibut"). Since I'm also using Eclipse, which requires
CVS 1.11.7 or later (current is 1.11.17), I'm having problems with it.

Does Xcode's CVS integration rely on that ancient version of CVS to work?
Isn't it that newer versions also fixed several security issues?

<off-topic>
What system configuration file(s) do I need to edit so that incoming
connections via ssh see my custom-installed, up-to-date version of the
cvs binary instead of /usr/bin/cvs? Editing .bash_profile for the
respective user works when actually logging on locally on the machine,
but not when establishing a connection via ssh. Any pointer to which
config files are essential to ssh-invoked commands (and aliassing them)
would be highly appreciated...
