no product name in build for Java class hierarchy?

I would like to generate a class hierarchy (Java) with build/ as root instead of build/product_name. The company I work for has that convention.

I have played with the product name field of the target configuration without luck (indeed looks like in spite of changes that field comes back to the name of the target).

Is there a way to accomplish that other than changing the build directory to be the project root and label the target "build"?
