Subversion suggestion for Tiger (10.4)

Since Subversion support is included, can you permanently add the tools (client and server) to the BSD line-up for Tiger?

An advantage Subversion has is that 3rd-party clients can connect with a shared library. You no longer have to secretly call the CLI version and scrape the results. Could you add a Subversion framework for Tiger? (Just compile the SVN shared libraries as frameworks, and have the CLI tools link to them.)

Speaking of CLI scraping, is that how SCM support is currently implemented? (I don't know about Perforce, but the CLI client is the only official outlet for CVS, so CLI-scraping is required for CVS support.)
