The absolutely best font for programming is called ProFont, and is freely downloadable from: http://www.tobias-jung.de/seekingprofont/

but profont looks so small.... does it work at large sizes? I'm really confused; I've been reading these font pages people referenced, and they have a truetype font, but then say "works at 9 point"! I don't get it. I thought truetype was supposed to be good at any size?


Another thing... I installed ProggySquareTT.... but it doesn't work in BBEdit. I get square glyphs; no letters. But it works in TextEdit....?
