Preferences menu option in XCode?

Hi all,

I could connect the preference panel by click the "Preferences..." menu option in my program. However, I noticed:

- the four corners of this preferences panel have four black anchor points when it is displayed.

- when I closed the option panel by clicking the "x" control, I could not get the panel back to display even though in the program I am pretty sure that the showWindow method is sent.
