I am using CVS with a PServer instead of SSH and have similar problems. (Password seems incorrect in XCode, but using commandline CVS the same name/pw are correct.)

It seems there is a problem in XCode when parsing username/PW. This is a known issue for Apple and might be fixed in a future release, so I am told. (See messages earlier on this list with subject "CVS integration in XCode".)
