I prefer having my tabs set to 4 spaces but I'm working on a collaborative project where everybody else uses tab=3. Is there a way to keep my default at 4 but set this one project to 3?

To a certain extent yes. Although I don't think you can set those on a project-wide basis, you can set it on a per-file basis.

Just select all of your source files (easiest by creating a smart group), and bring up the Inspector. You can then set the indent width for all of them at once.

When I do a 'project find', as I click on a case in the 'detail view' area, the text is highlighted in a very light gray. My tired old eyes have a hard time picking that up. Is there a way to alter that highlighting color?

As far as I know, you can only change it system-wide... go to System Prefs, then choose Appearance and change the Highlight Color. Mine is blue, which shows up quite well.

Hope that helps.
