Make sure to check the release notes for Xcode on using perforce. You have to use 'defaults' on the command line to let Xcode know the path to your p4 executable. The details are in the release notes.

Is anyone using the built-in Perforce support in xcode? I have the Perforce Mac client installed and working perfectly, but when I try to configure an xcode project to use Perforce as the SCM, xcode hangs indefinitely with the 'busy' cursor spinning away. I have to forceably quit xcode.
