are converted PB projects equal to new Xcode projects?

  • Subject: are converted PB projects equal to new Xcode projects?

When I convert an old project builder project by just opening it and
answering "OK" to the dialog that warns me about the backward
incompatibility, will the new Xcode project be equivalent to a freshly
created Xcode project or is it using some 'legacy' target style or
similar?

I'm wondering whether I need to recreate my PB projects if I want to
get all the bells and whistles of e.g. fix & continue, zero link, etc.?
