My project is complaining - it says "Build Failed (see build log for
details)" I can't figure out how to get this thing to appear.
Unfortunately, there are still no searchable archives for the
XCode-users, so if this problem was recently discussed and everyone
got the message last week, I missed it.
There is also an option to auto show the window if the build fails.
Have a look in the Preferences.
Also note that you can drag the horizontal seperator (which usually
sits right at the bottom of the window) upwards to show the actually
console output.
