Wow, that's very ironic you mentioned Direct to Web. Read the post I
just made. =)
Also, I've tried going to Twisted's site a few times, but it's down.

Twisted can also act as Web Services engine. And it allows you to mix
and match all the different services in a single runtime.
The end result is that you could use WebObject's Direct To Web Services
in your front end app to talk to the Twisted app via Web Services with
little to no protocol specific code.
