the problem with this is that, if i want to keep the syntax coloring, I have to find a way to reprocess pdf files saved by Xcode and erase the Xcode headers and add my own.

I always liked enscript. 'man enscript' or, from Xcode, Help->open man page.


It has lots of neat options, including n-up printing, and since Panther's Preview can convert Postscript to PDF, you can easily preview/save-as-PDF.
