Bernard,
If you wanted to embed the framework inside your application, you
should:
1) supecify the install location to '@executable_path/../Frameworks'
2) make new build phase to copy it into your application target.
See 'Cocoa Programming' (S. Anguish, E. M. Buck, D. A. Yacktman) chaper
27 for more detail.

I am new to Xcode ( was using Codewarrior before) and I have a problem

a private Framework. I want to use a private Framework called
Ambase.framework in my app. (= MedusaTest).
The app is a package and I have a layout as suggested by the Technical
docs.
MedusaTest.app/
Contents/
Info.plist
MacOS/ MedusaTestApp
Resources/
Frameworks/Ambase.framework/
PlugIns/
SharedSupport/
My application won't run however because it seems to be looking for the
Ambase.framework in the Library/Frameworks/....
The runtime error message I get is:
dyld:
/Data/QMS/cmsapp/MedusaTestApp/Dev/Mac/Xcode1_1/MedusaTestApp/build/
MedusaTe
stApp.app/Contents/MacOS/MedusaTestApp can't open library:
/Library/Frameworks/Ambase.framework/Versions/A/Ambase (No such file
or
directory, errno = 2)
Is there a setting in Xcode that forces it to look in the application
package?
Al help appreciated,
Bernard Meers
