As this comes up so often, I got me to thinking...
Is there any reason this could not be made simpler by maybe adding a
checkbox
in the XCode build settings for frameworks?
Something like 'Build framework to be embedded', which would fill the
text
edit with the appropriate value and disable it? Is there really any
valid
reason why we need to enter this over and over?

Bernard,
If you wanted to embed the framework inside your application, you
should:
1) supecify the install location to '@executable_path/../Frameworks'
2) make new build phase to copy it into your application target.
See 'Cocoa Programming' (S. Anguish, E. M. Buck, D. A. Yacktman) chaper
27 for more detail.

And I know the disclaimer is annoying, I think it is too, but I don't
have
a choice so quit your whining...
