This folder is created because you have Precompiled Prefix Headers
enabled for your project. They are intended as an optimization as they
can speed up compilation, and the disk space lost is probably not very
important considering the HD space most of us have available today. You
can of course turn off this feature. Check the build settings for your
targets, and if needed the Xcode documentation.

[demime 0.98b removed an attachment of type application/pkcs7-signature which had a name of smime.p7s]
