Application fails to launch on certain machines, execle err=22

This one is driving me crazy. My xcode-compiled application fails to
launch on a couple of machines (fine on the vast bulk of them.) The
error from the console is:
Jun 10 23:00:06 localhost WindowServer[441]: ERROR!
execle(/Users/dave/Desktop/dim3b10d2/dim3 Engine.app/Contents/MacOS/dim3
Engine) returned, err=22
Error 22 seems to be EINVAL -- Invalid Argument.
Haven't found anymore information on this. Anybody know why this might
happen (once again, on specific machines.) What's weird is similiar
machine/OS combinations work for other people.
Any place in the system I can get more information on the exact reason,
or a trace?
