legacy library build can't find 'Preprocessor Macros'

I am building a legacy library and when i set up the target i do not
see an entry slot for 'Preprocessor macros' so that i can enter a build
flag e.g. foo=bar.
does this somehow not show up for legacy library targets? how can i add
a flag to the lib build?
