Hi guys,

I just got a request from a client to keep my column count per line down to 80.
Now, in BBEdit there's this neat thing called the Philip Bar, that is this
vertical bar on the "status bar", visually drawing a line at the 80 character
mark.

Is there a way to do something like this in XCode?

Yes, on the "Test Editing" preferences panel check "Show page guide" and set it to 80 columns (characters).
