Roland,

Xcode is designed to be able to read and drive Project Builder development projects. Just install the Xcode Tools and open your PB project (I would always make a backup of the .pbproj file, of course). At that point you can build and continue development. You also have the additional step, when you're ready, of upgrading the project format to Xcode's native format (look for the command on the Project menu). This gives you additional Xcode functionality ... Fix & Continue, faster builds, distributed builds, etc, plus the Xcode inspector for making project configuration settings.

By and large, this should be a fairly smooth transition.

best,
Godfrey

I'm thinking of upgrading from OS 10.2.8 to 10.3, and to port my
current Project Builder project to Xcode. There's a lot of info on how
to convert CodeWarrior projects to Xcode, but not PB. Does Xcode handle
them directly? What is the Xcode analog of PB?

Also, is anyone out there using FLTK on the Mac? Not clear to me if at
this point it can be used in any Mac environment but CodeWarrior.
