just click on the directory where they are housed when you 'add
existing files' and they will be added in with a group (= the directory
name) in the new project.

I have a few large groups in my xcode project. One target puts all
these groups into a lib. I also want to add all of these files to an
app that is another target. Can I select all files in a group and
somehow add them to a target without clicking on each file
individually?
Thanks,
