Instruction to go read about configuring and learning about CVS are of no

Basically, I don't have the time to learn about implementing it, I just need
it to work.

Dale:

1. The link Robert pointed you at

	<http://developer.apple.com/internet/opensource/cvsoverview.html>

is about as step-by-step as you're going to get. Alternatively, you could follow the instructions in the CVS manual

<http://developer.apple.com/documentation/DeveloperTools/cvs/ cvs_stoc.html>

or in the CVS Book

	<http://cvsbook.red-bean.com/cvsbook.html>

Or you could search the mailing list archives where you'll find a large amount of material on this precise topic. Either way, *you* have to do something, because nobody is going to do it for you.

2. If you're going to use version control (*any* version control), you need to read the manual. Version control is one area where, if you stuff-up, you're going to spend serious amounts of time wishing you had read the manual in the first place.

3. If you want advice on how to ask questions, Eric Raymond's "How To Ask Questions The Smart Way"

	<http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html>

is a good place to start.

Kind regards,

Alastair.
